Arrival at Malaga Airport and warm welcome by our English-speaking Muslim Baraka Trip Guide. Your Andalusian journey begins in the coastal city of Malaga, known in Arabic as Al-Malaqah. Visit the historic Alcazaba fortress, majestically overlooking the city.
Continue inland to the mountain town of Ronda, renowned for its iconic Puente Nuevo bridge and the historic bullring of the Royal Cavalry Order, a symbol of Andalusia’s cultural heritage. Proceed through the picturesque white towns of Andalusia, including Benamahoma, known in Arabic as Banu Muḥammad (“the Sons of Muhammad”).
In the afternoon, continue your journey to the coastal city of Cadiz.

After breakfast, explore the old town of Cadiz, known in Arabic as Al-Qadis, one of Europe’s oldest cities with a history spanning over 3.000 years. Visit Torre Tavira, the city’s highest watchtower, offering panoramic views over Cadiz. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the Genovés Park, a peaceful green oasis in the heart of the city. Continue to Medina-Sidonia, located outside Cadiz, where the first major battle of the Umayyad conquest of Hispania took place under the Berber commander Tariq ibn Ziyad, opening the way toward the capture of Toledo.
Proceed to Jerez de la Frontera, a cradle of Andalusian art, music, and equestrian tradition. Visit the impressive 11th-century Alcázar fortress with its mosque, octagonal tower, traditional Arab baths, and gardens.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Seville.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Seville, one of the most important cities of Al-Andalus, known in Arabic as Ishbiliyyah. Discover Plaza de España and enjoy a walk through the historic city center, shaped by centuries of Islamic heritage and crossed by the Guadalquivir River, the largest river in Andalusia. Explore the heart of the city around the iconic Giralda, once the minaret of the Great Mosque of Seville, and admire the orange-tree courtyards. Continue to the Alcázar Palace and the Golden Tower, landmarks that reflect Seville’s rich Islamic and Andalusian legacy.
In the afternoon, continue journey to Cordoba.
Overnight stay: Cordoba
After breakfast, explore Cordoba, the ancient capital of the Islamic Emirate of Al-Andalus, known in Arabic as Al-Qurtubah. Discover the historic city center and wander through the traditional Jewish and Arab quarters, ideal for photography and souvenir shopping. Visit the Great Mosque of Cordoba, once the second-largest mosque in the Islamic world after Masjid al-Haram. Continue with a visit to Medinat Az-Zahra, the magnificent palace-city of the Umayyad Caliphate and a UNESCO World Heritage site, reflecting the splendor of 10th-century Al-Andalus.
In the afternoon, continue journey to Granada.
Overnight stay: Granada
After breakfast, explore Granada, the capital of the last Islamic Emirate of Al-Andalus. Visit the Generalife Gardens and the Alhambra Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the prime example of Islamic arts and architecture with intricate designs and lush gardens. In the afternoon, enjoy panoramic views at San Miguel Alto before visiting the historic Albaicin quarter, starting at the Main Mosque of Granada. Head to the San Nicolas Viewpoint for breathtaking vistas and conclude your day with souvenir shopping at Plaza Nueva.
Overnight stay: Granada
After breakfast, travel into the Alpujarra region in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Visit Órgiva, home to a local Muslim community, and learn about their way of life amid the area’s peaceful mountain setting.
Continue through the Alpujarra, a region that once served as the last refuge of Moorish resistance after the fall of the Emirate of Al-Andalus, known for its dramatic landscapes and rich history.
Overnight stay: Granada
After breakfast, travel along the coast, discovering charming towns such as Almuñécar, Frigiliana, and Nerja, each infused with the enduring essence of Al-Andalus. Wander through narrow cobbled streets and admire whitewashed houses set against sweeping coastal views, where mountains meet the Mediterranean Sea.
Enjoy the scenic drive as you make your way back to Malaga Airport for your departure.
